Not that I expect much traffic here, but it does seem as though, against every indication I remembered, that people are acknowledging Dreamwidth exists, and I have things to talk about, so I thought I might as well start posting again, after quite some time.

I set a goal: by January 1, 2021, I will have over 1 million words registered on AO3. The current count is 858,904, leaving me with a little over 141,000 left to write in five months. I initially was going to try to break 200 fics in that time as well, but that would require 15 more fics than I currently have planned, and that seems like it might be pushing it.

The good (?) news is that current obligations I have (such as... several fics from equality_auction) will bring me up to around 120,000 by October 31, if all goes well. Of course, this all sounds very exhausting. I spent three hours today just writing outlines for everything I've got planned. Tomorrow's the day I dig in and start plowing through the first four in line.

On another note, I have met some truly wonderful people on Discord! I've never felt quite so welcome in fandom as I have on Discord, despite what you'll hear about Discord drama. I think you just need to find spots where people understand you and relate to you. I've tried and left a few servers already, but I've found a few places I'll call home. The exchange circuit is also treating me fairly well, compared to five years or so ago when I left it.

I'm working on having a fannish twitter, though I keep forgetting to keep it open/post on it; I'm hoping that'll change with updates I'll have for my "to a million challenge", as I'm calling it. It's at [profile] thinkatoryish on Twitter.

So. I'll keep updating, for my own sake. Should be a good time.
